Under the skin of the letting market

Here we share news and views on both the local letting market in & around Oxfordshire and all planned and recent legislation.

One Week To Go!

The name badges are being printed, the slides are being tidied up, the presenters are busy rehearsing…we are looking forward to welcoming over 175 people to the 10th Property Intelligence seminar on 11th September!

This annual seminar is intended to educate and inform our clients on the property market; Oxfordshire’s economy; legislative changes impacting landlords; and further investment opportunities. This year we have four great speakers covering these topics:

  • Kate Faulkner – Top UK Property Analyst
Kate is one of the UK’s leading property experts and author of multiple property books, including several for the consumer organisation Which? Kate will provide a national and local property market update and also take a look at what is happening politically and economically.
  • Henry Brown – The Legal Landscape
Henry completed the ARLA Propertymark Level 4 Certificate in 2015, and was awarded an Outstanding Achievement in Property Qualifications for having achieved the highest mark in the UK that year. Henry will take a look at the legal landscape and how landlords can ensure they remain compliant.
  • Douglas Lloyd – Tenant Attitudes to Renting
Douglas joined Finders Keepers in 2008 and has worked in both the letting and property management departments before becoming Associate Director. Douglas will present the findings of our recent survey in which we learned about attitudes towards renting from over 1,200 tenants.
  • Maxine Allington – Inspired Investment
Maxine heads up Inspired Investment, the sales and acquisitions department of Finders Keepers which helps clients to purchase investment property across Oxfordshire. Maxine will be reviewing recent successful investment purchases and giving tips on upcoming opportunities across the county.
