We aim to offer a truly expert service to our landlords and tenants, and we can only do this through our people. Every member of the team - from letting and management to our central services - are trained so they can advise landlords and tenants with confidence.

Our training is a mixture of internal and external training to ensure our teams continue to offer quality service. This training is fully funded and, where appropriate, supported through study leave.

ARLA Propertymark Qualification in Residential Letting & Property Management
Finders Keepers has invested heavily in the ARLA Propertymark qualifications in order to increase our people's knowledge and therefore their confidence. As well as being funded by the company, this training is supported through guided sessions, exam preparation and time off for studying. Every eligible member of the team is qualified to Level 3, and the more senior members are qualified to Level 4.

At each all-staff meeting we recognise the most recent passes and give each member of staff a bottle of champagne. We celebrate, because it is a real achievement for the individual and it provides them with the in-depth legal knowledge to deal with complex situations.

Role-specific Qualifications
As well as letting and property management, we have people working in our central services divisions who have also been supported through their job-specific qualifications, such as:

  • PRINCE2 (a project management qualification)
  • CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing)
  • CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)
  • NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents)

In-house Training
New starters visit other offices as part of their induction process and also spend time with our Renovations, Interiors, Inspired Sales & Acquisitions and Marketing departments. We also offer in-house training through our parent company and direct with our Directors and Managers. These include topics such as:

  • Leadership training
  • Negotiation skills
  • Winning new business
  • Personal Resilience
  • Stress & Resilience

Away Days
Our away days create a bit of buzz across the offices. We get the letting teams from every office together off-site for a day of classroom style training and team-building activities and then do the same for our property managers on another day. It's a superb opportunity for across-the-board training, getting to know your colleagues from other offices, and enjoying a bit of friendly competition!
