The Launch 2023

We will be launching our properties in phases this year, and applications and requests for viewings are in-person only and on a first come, first served basis at our Shared Letting office (27 St Clements Street, Oxford, OX4 1AB).

  • 5+ bedroom properties: from 9am on Tuesday 21st November 2023
  • 3 & 4 bedroom properties: from 9am on Tuesday 28th November 2023

Properties will appear online from 6th November (see below), but please note that we are not accepting requests for viewings or applications before the above dates. Only relevant property enquiries will be responded to within this time, e.g. enquiries received for a 4 bedroom property before 9am on 28th November will not receive a response (and nor will they be prioritised over others on 28th November).

Pre-Launch

1. Decide who you want to live with and therefore how many rooms you will need and also consider your budget and preferred area of Oxford.

2. Each applicant needs to register before the launch. Click here to fill your details out now (hosted in Survey Monkey).

3. If you apply for and move into one of our properties, holding deposits and rent must be made as one payment from a single nominated bank account, so you need to nominate a 'lead tenant'. All tenants remain jointly and severally liable; the lead tenant is no more responsible for the property or paying the rent. Please see our guide to renting here for further details.

4. You will be able to preview available 5+ bedroom properties on our website and other property portals from 6th November and 3+ bedroom properties from 13th November. Our properties have full descriptions, photos, floorplans and EPCs available to view online. We recommend you search on our website with your group and shortlist your three favourite properties before you visit the office on Launch date. You can view properties once they are live by clicking here.

Launch Day

Our doors will open at 9am, and we will accept applications and requests for viewings in-person only and on a first come, first served basis. We have intentionally staggered our property launch to prevent long wait times and we discourage queuing ahead of time.

Applying for a property:
1. A refundable holding deposit must be paid in one sum from the lead tenant's bank account upon application - see our Guide to Renting for the circumstances under which the deposit may be retained.

2. Each applicant must complete a declaration form (this will be emailed to you at the point of application, or you can complete a copy in the office).

3. Each applicant must supply the appropriate Right to Rent documents.

4. Each applicant will need to nominate a guarantor (usually a parent); the guarantor must give their consent by completing a form and return it to us within 48 hours.
