The Renters' Rights Bill

Let's Talk About It

Many of the proposals in the Renters’ Rights Bill (RRB) remain similar to those in the previous government’s Renters (Reform) Bill, which was dropped when parliament was dissolved ahead of the general election. The scope of legislation has increased in some areas and our industry body, Propertymark, is working to shape the proposals as best as possible. Finders Keepers is keeping on top of the bill’s progress and its implementations. We will work with our clients as appropriate to help them adapt and remain compliant as new legislation is introduced.

There are many stages in parliamentary process through which the bill must pass before coming law, and amendments may be made. This page outlines the key elements of the bill and aims to keep you informed of changes which might affect your property investment or tenancy. If you have any questions or concerns about how these changes affect you and your properties, feel free to contact your local lettings experts.
