Finders Keepers will contact you 2-3 months before the end of your tenancy to establish whether you would like to renew the tenancy. There isn’t an automatic right to renew your tenancy, but we will do our best to help, depending on the landlord’s plans.
We will need to know within a few weeks if you want to renew the tenancy because we need to begin re-marketing the property if you are leaving. If you need to extend this deadline for a short period, contact us as soon as you can to talk this through.
We need to know that every tenant (and occupier over 18) who renews has the Right to Rent. If you have a time limited right to live in the UK we will need to see proof that a new tenancy complies with the legislation.

If you live in an FK Shared Letting home, we will contact you in October to discuss the possibility of renewing.

If you know earlier in the tenancy that you definitely want to stay on, please contact Finders Keepers as soon as possible. The earlier we know your future plans, the more helpful we can be to you.
Any renewal of your tenancy will be subject to the landlord’s approval and subject to contract.

I’d like to stay on but…
If you have some concerns about the terms or the property itself, get in touch with your Property Manager. A mutually acceptable agreement may be reached.

If your needs have changed and you want to find something larger, smaller or just in a different area, contact Finders Keepers and we will make you a priority applicant to find your next rental property.
