Care and communication lead to great service
We pride ourselves on the focus our letting team puts on getting to know our applicants. It helps us to match the right tenant with the right property; something which would be a challenge without really understanding your applicants’ requirements. Our Banbury team recently worked with a couple who were moving to the area and were absolutely delighted with the service we provided:
Mr & Mrs Wivesson, who are originally from Sweden, were relocating from Surrey to Banbury. They had initially looked at areas south of London because they wanted easy access to the capital, but felt they were ‘too touristy’. Having visited Banbury previously for business and to visit friends they decided to consider a move to Oxfordshire. This area worked for them as it has great access to London via train and motorway, there is a lot going on in the community and there is a good range of pubs and restaurants in the area as well.
They started their search by emailing different agents about properties they had seen on Rightmove and were impressed by how promptly our team responded. In fact, they are still waiting for some other agencies to send details through…several months later! They enquired about a 2 bedroom house a short walk from the train station, and after talking with them to find out a bit more Celia Howells, Letting Specialist in our Banbury office, recommended a second property which met their requirements.
The couple came up to Banbury to view these two properties. They liked the style and finish of one property, but wanted a bigger garden (they are keen gardeners) and the other property had the garden they wanted but not enough space inside. Using their feedback, Celia continued their search and when they returned to Banbury a couple of weeks later she showed them a 3 bedroom semi-detached house on the north side of Banbury. This had the garden they were looking for and Mrs Wivesson was elated to see that the flowers in the garden were the same as the ones her own mother had in her wedding bouquet! There was also plenty of space inside for their many books and the 3rd bedroom was ideal as a study for their work as they own their own company.
It’s possibly down to owning their own service company that they truly appreciated the efficient yet personal service that Finders Keepers offered them. They felt we asked the right questions, were honest with them, listened to their feedback and understood their needs; everything we try to achieve!
