Kingsmere Development Bicester

The Kingsmere development is a large scale new building project on the South side of Bicester, which is well underway with many new homes now available and support facilities open.

The site contains houses from multiple different developers, Bovis Homes, Taylor Wimpey, David Wilson Homes and Bellway Homes. There is also a Premier Inn and Brewers Fayre restaurant on site. There are plans for two new primary schools and a secondary school education campus within the Kingsmere development. The first primary school is already under construction and is expected to open in early 2016.

New sports facilities are also being included in the site for use by the schools and local community. Along with this there are plans for a health village which could include a GP surgery and care home for elderly patients.

Open green space has been included in the plans for the whole development with two major parks / public open areas.

Kingsmere is being built as a ‘modern village’ containing all the facilities required for ease of access while still being a major part of the surrounding local community.

The development is located just 12 miles north of Oxford and adjacent to the outlet shopping centre Bicester Village. The continued work on transport links around Bicester, such as the new train link to London Marylebone, only serve to make Kingsmere even more attractive to residents.

We already have experience managing properties within the Kingsmere development and we see current rental yields between 5.0% and 5.4%. With the developments to Bicester and surrounding area we expect to see demand for new property to remain strong, providing an excellent opportunity for landlords and tenants alike.
