The landlords bought this property as part of a large estate where they built their own home. Initially they had planned on demolishing the Old Farmhouse. However, bats were discovered in the attic and they found that a preservation order meant they could not do this. We have had this Victorian townhouse on our books for a number of years and it has been a property that has always let very well, the location being the primary appeal for me. This house is in an absolutely fantastic location, slap-bang in the beautiful historic market town of Woodstock. Right in the hub of the lively centre with cute village cafés, boutique shops and restaurants right on your doorstop. Residents in this property are able to apply for a resident’s pass into the grounds of BlenheimPalace, the back gate of which is literally a 5-minute walk from the house. The Palace offers some of the most beautiful views in Oxfordshire. The town of Charlbury is a short drive up the road and Long Hanborough train station is but a 5-minute car journey, with trains that will take you into Oxford and London in no time at all.

This is a beautiful property in the centre of this village just outside Banbury with 4 goodsized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has been refurbished to a high standard, retaining fireplaces, shutters, window seats, wooden floors and beams. It is quite atmospheric inside and has a lovely mature garden and thatched roof. This property belonged to an existing client who let this property (formerly her own home) via another agent. She liked our service on the first property she instructed us with, and let us have this one. When we first approached the landlord with the current tenant, she was reluctant to accept pets in the property but the perfect applicant had a 3-year-old English Springer Spaniel – exactly the same breed as the landlord’s own dog! The landlord agreed to the letting, and they became good friends, often walking the dogs together.
