Finders Keepers awarded ‘One to Watch 2014’ from Best Companies

Finders Keepers: One to Watch

We believe that people matter in this business. Skills matter, experience matters and, most importantly, attitude matters. That is why we are delighted to be a ‘One to Watch 2014’ in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For survey.

At the end of 2013 every member of the Finders Keepers team was invited to take part in a survey conducted by Best Companies Limited, the company who then compile the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For list.

Taking part meant that we could find out how our staff feel about working for Finders Keepers. The responses could be completely honest, because the survey was totally confidential, and this gives an accurate idea of what we do well and what we could do differently.

HR Director Maryse Davies says, “It is one thing to pay lip service to the fact that ‘people matter’ and another to make the effort to gauge motivation and engagement. The survey shows that we are a company focused on giving the best talent in the letting industry the right environment to shine.”

“Letting agents tend to obsess about marketing and touting and pricing,” says Dan Channer, Managing Director, “But ultimately, in a service business your people are your competitive advantage. We are pleased with the Best Companies results and they give us clear direction on how we can continue to improve.”

Survey categories covered include leadership, wellbeing, personal growth and management. Our highest scoring factors were ‘My Company’, ‘Leadership’ and ‘My Team’, and we were only a few points short of being awarded a One Star.
