High demand results in quick lets

Finding the right tenant can take a long time and a lot of effort. However, at Finders Keepers we have a network of 8 offices across Oxfordshire, meaning that sometimes the pieces of the puzzle fall into place very quickly.

A large 1950’s family home (photos 1 and 3) in Kennington was a recent success story. The property was new to us and the landlord initially approached our Central Oxford office early on a Wednesday. We quickly identified that the property would be most suitable to be marketed in our East Oxford office and so a few hours later Louise Humphreys, Senior Letting Manager at East Oxford, met with the client and listed the property soon after. Viewings began that evening and we let the property early on the Saturday. The tenants are a German family who had recently relocated to Oxford for work purposes. The property was ideal for this family as they needed easy access to the European School in Culham.

Another highlight was the let of a Grade II listed apartment in East Oxford (photos 2 and 4). The property was newly refurbished by our interior design department Decorum Interiors. The tenant is relocating to Oxford for an internship at a large local firm., and while visiting Oxford with her parents noticed the North Oxford office from the hotel. Last Wednesday morning they came in to speak with Letting Manager Oliver Saxton, who suggested the property because of its close proximity to her work. Rose Loy, Letting Manager at East Oxford met them at the apartment 30 minutes later and by 4.45 p.m the same day we had obtained Landlord approval from Singapore, a signed tenancy agreement and references. We quickly arranged the final preparations and the lady moved in at lunch time on Friday.
