It is always fascinating to see the shortlisted buildings for the RIBA awards each year (Royal Institute of British Architects).
Some bold, some provocative, some curious, some beautiful, some surprising.
Oxfordshire counts 2 of the 20 listed on the Telegraph’s website. The temporary Garsington Opera pavilion shown above, designed by Snell & Associates, and Shulman Auditorium in Queen’s College.
We also love number 1 on the list, a ‘floating’ seaside house.
