Under the skin of the letting market

Here we share news and views on both the local letting market in & around Oxfordshire and all planned and recent legislation.

The debut of Finders Keepers Movies

Last night saw the first night of Finders Keepers Movies, where we take a cinema-load of customers to the movies, which we think is a first for one of the Oxford estate agents..,

..and we got off to a cracking start. On a fairly nondescript Tuesday evening a bunch of our tenants congregated in Jericho to watch the George Clooney-directed ‘The Ides of March.”

The film tells the story of intrigue and double-dealing among political advisers on an election campaign. Initially the going was a bit slow and we did start to worry. Yet subtley and cleverley the story’s hooks sunk deeper and deeper into our skin, resulting in a compelling experience.

George himself is a main character but not the main character, and if you have seen Michael Clayton or Good Night, and Good Luck you will have some idea for theĀ genre and style of filming.

While our photos might be a little blurred, our minds were switched on.

Strongly recommended.
