Banbury letting agents raise money for BOB
We aspire to be responsible members of the community and the most professional letting agents in Banbury. Part of this commitment is helping support our Charity of the Year.
The 4th Four Shires Show was held in Banbury’s Market Square on Sunday, 20th August and luckily the event was bathed in sunshine.
In support of our Charity of the Year, some of Finders Keepers’ Banbury staff manned the Air Ambulance stall and created a record for the weekend….Amid the amazing fruit and vegetables from the Banbury Flower and Produce Show, all of which were produced in the gardens and allotments of the town, there were a wide range of stalls for all ages including local ales, arts and craft and music from Radio Horton.
The Air Ambulance stall had items for sale, the most popular being the Air Ambulance Helicopter and the teddy bears, along with a lucky dip which proved a hit, particularly with the children. We had a great response as Eleanor Green from BOB AirAmbulance reports:
“In the words of Dermot O’Leary, the amount has been counted and verified and I can reveal that Finders Keepers raised a fantastic £309.31 at the Banbury Four Shires Show. Not only is this the highest amount raised at any of the twelve events that ran this weekend across the three counties but it is also an increase on last year’s total which, in this financial climate, is a fantastic result. Please pass our thanks onto Tamsin and Emma – we really do appreciate you giving up your time and I’m very glad that you enjoyed the event.”
The Air Ambulance is held very dear to people’s hearts judging by the comments on Sunday, the general consensus being “Hope I never need it, but it’s great to know it’s there”.
