Bored of boards
Boards placed correctly are an invaluable tool to help market a property but otherwise we are “bored of boards” just for the sake of it.
Some agents appear to have gone into overdrive by placing their boards inappropriately against road signs, which contravenes Oxford City Council’s guidelines or by fly-boarding to improve their visibility where they have no instructions to let.
We try very hard to observe by-laws and planning restrictions by placing our boards responsibly where they are permitted. Furthermore, if a development does not allow boards we do not ignore this although we have noticed that even the property management companies who look after the same do not pay attention to the leasehold restrictions that they are supposed to uphold.
