Property Acquisition

Helping our clients find the best property investments since 1972

Welcome to FK Acquisitions

We have been finding quality investment properties for our clients for over 50 years. Finders Keepers originally started as a property acquisition service - in fact, the “Finders” relates to sourcing property and the “Keepers” relates to letting and management. Over the years we have helped many investors to find and acquire properties across Oxfordshire.

How can we help?
Our skill is in providing guidance on what and where to buy. Anyone can scan the property portals, but our relationships with developers, agents and vendors means we often secure properties off-market, at a discount, or even off-plan when it comes to new builds. Our expertise and advice is founded on decades of letting and management experience, meaning we provide comprehensive and considered advice about a property’s target letting market and predicted rental income.

Who do we help?
We complete property searches for all kinds of clients from home owners to novice investors or experienced investors looking to expand their portfolio. Our clients are looking at residential letting for a number of reasons:
• Retirement planning
• Business investing
• Inheritance
• Helping family members on to the property ladder
• To supplement pensions

Our team offers a personal service and will guide you through the process of investing in buy-to-let property in Oxfordshire, saving you time and helping you to succeed in your financial goals. If you are wondering whether this is the ‘right time’ for you to invest then please contact us for an informal chat with our team.

Calculating rental yield

Why calculate?

Understanding the yield of your investment is crucial to assessing profitability and optimising returns. You can work this out by dividing the annual rental income by the property's purchase price then multiply by 100.

For example

If you purchased a property at £240,000 and the rental income is £1,200pcm, the gross yield is 6%. This is calculated as ((1,200 x 12) / 240,000) x 100.
