An unusual lead
We love to know how our new tenants heard about us. It is no surprise that in this day and age, the majority of new enquiries come from portals (such as Rightmove, Prime Location, Zoopla etc.) and the internet. However, we are also fortunate to receive a lot of our new tenants through recommendations and word of mouth.
Other common ‘sources’ of leads are advertising (letting boards, newspaper advertisements, direct mail etc), relocation agents and those who simply noticed the office and came in. However, last month in North Oxford we had an unusual lead…another letting agent!
A Newbury based company were relocating two software engineers, but didn’t have the time to search for a suitable property. They contacted a local agent who agreed to do the leg work for them. This agent contacted us, and it happily resulted in a corporate let for our client to two professionals who wanted a base with easy transport links to Newbury and London!
